Job Description:

Hogan - Hansen P.C. Accounting Firm has an opportunity for an experienced temporary Administrative Assistant. We are looking for someone who should have a strong computer, communication and organizational skills and excellent phone etiquette. The Administrative Assistant serves as a facilitator who coordinates deadlines and handles project coordination and completion. We are a well-organized CPA firm located in Iowa.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Handling incoming calls
  • Assembly of individual and corporate income tax returns
  • Work with the preparation of memorandums and all other correspondence from the draft stage to final completion
  • Acts as liaison between the partner and clients/colleagues to facilitate work and accomplish objectives in a collaborative effort
  • Knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook, a plus
  • Schedule appointments, confirm changes or delays, and make necessary changes for partner
  • Manage voicemail
  • Other general administrative duties

Qualifications and Skills

  • CPA Firm related experience is a plus
  • Initiative and a strong customer service focus
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to interface with personnel at all levels, both verbally and in writing
  • An excellent attendance and punctuality record

Job Type: Temporary

Dates of Employment: February 4th- April 16th

Hours: Monday-Friday 1 pm - 5 pm
