Our Staff

Tim joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2022 and serves as a Tax Manager in the Ames office. He performs research on a variety of complex tax-related topics and prepares and reviews complex tax returns. Tim also is involved in tax and business planning/consulting.

Tim graduated from Iowa State University with a B.A. in Accounting. His certifications include: MHP and PAHM. Tim gives back to his community by volunteering with; ISCPA Member of the Career Awareness Committee; Easterseals Iowa Board of Directors (Finance Committee) and Cornerstone Children's Ministries.

During his free time, Tim enjoys spending time with his granddaughters and vacationing with family. He also enjoys playing golf and training for Masters running events. 

Mollie joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2021 and serves as a Staff Accountant in our Ames office. Her responsibilities include payroll services, payroll tax reporting, financial statement preparation and bookkeeping services for a variety of clients

Mollie graduated from Iowa State University with a B.S. in Accounting. She is in the process of studying for the CPA exam. Mollie has volunteered at the local animal shelter and helped raise money for kids at the ISU Dance Marathon. 

In her free time, Mollie enjoys watching movies, online shopping and trying new foods. She cheers for the Green Bay Packers and Iowa State University. 

Alishia joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2022 and serves as an Administrative Services Professional in the Ames office. She supports our firm with many administrative functions and is responsible for providing excellent service to our clients.

Outside of work Alishia enjoys spending time with her 3 children, working out, being outdoors and visiting the ocean with her children when she can

Dennis joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2016 after operating his own CPA firm in the Ames area for many years. Dennis serves as a Senior Tax Manager in the Ames office. He performs research on a variety of complex tax-related topics and prepares and reviews complex tax returns. Dennis also is involved in tax and business planning/consulting.

Dennis graduated from Iowa State University with a B.A. degree in Accounting. He is married to Amy and they have two daughters, two sons and four grandchildren. Dennis enjoys fall bird hunting, snow skiing, weightlifting at the local gym, biking, water skiing, surfing and sailing.

John joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2016 with over 30 years of accounting experience. He is a Audit Manager in the Ames office. He prepares and reviews complex tax returns and is involved in tax and business planning/consulting. John also plans and conducts audit, review and compilation engagements for nonprofit organizations and commercial entities.

John is a graduate of both Northwest Missouri State University and Iowa State University. He has B.A. degrees in Accounting and History. Outside of work, John enjoys spending time with his wife, Teri, and their two daughters. He cheers for the Iowa State Cyclones, UNI Panthers and NWMSU Bearcats. He is also a shareholder of the Green Bay Packers.

Hailey joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2019 and is a Senior Accountant for our firm.  She is responsible for individual, partnership and corporate tax return preparation.  In addition, she also plans and conducts audit, review and compilation engagements for local governments, nonprofit organizations and commercial entities.

Hailey graduated from Iowa State University with a B.S. degree in Accounting and Agricultural Business. In her free time Hailey loves reading, quilting, spending time with her two dogs, and cheering for the Iowa State Cyclones.  

Andy joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2019 after operating his own CPA firm in the Ames and Ankeny area for many years. Andy serves as a Senior Tax Manager in the Ames and Ankeny offices. He performs research on a variety of complex tax-related topics and prepares and reviews complex tax returns. Andy also is involved in tax and business planning/consulting.

Sonal joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2019 after operating her CPA firm in the Ames and Ankeny area for many years. She serves as a Senior Tax Manager in the Ames and Ankeny offices.

Sonal prepares and reviews complex tax returns for individuals, businesses and nonprofit organizations. In addition, she is also involved in tax and business planning/consulting and research of complex tax issues. Sonal graduated with a B.S. degree in Accounting and Finance.

Sonal is married and has one son. She enjoys spending time with her family, writing, painting and traveling.  

Nick joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2014 and is a Partner with the firm. Nick supervises preparation and the review process of individual, partnership and nonprofit organization income tax returns, as well as providing estate tax planning services. He also plans and conducts audit, review and compilation engagements for local governments, nonprofit organizations and commercial entities. Nick also specializes in cost segregation studies to assist clients in uncovering potential income tax benefits.

Nick graduated from Northwestern College with a B.A. degree in Accounting. He is married and has three sons. Outside of work, Nick and his family enjoy boating, fishing and doing any outdoor activities. He also enjoys cheering on the Dallas Cowboys and Oklahoma Sooners.

Diane joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2016 and is a Staff Accountant in the Ames office. Her responsibilities include payroll services, payroll tax reporting, financial statement preparation and bookkeeping services for a variety of clients.

Angela joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2016 and is a Senior Accountant in the Ames office. Her responsibilities include payroll services, payroll tax reporting, financial statement preparation and bookkeeping services for a variety of clients.

Angela graduated from AIB College of Business with an Associates degree in Accounting and Business Administration. Outside of work, Angela volunteers with the Colo Firefighter’s Association as an EMT and firefighter, currently serving as Captain. She is married to Rodney and they have two daughters, Katelynn and Allison. She also likes to crochet and go camping with friends.

Jacki joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2019 and serves as an Administrative Services Professional in the Ames office. She supports our firm with many administrative functions and is responsible for providing excellent service to our clients.

Stephenie joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2019 and is a Tax Manager in the Ames office. She performs research on complex tax-related topics and is responsible for preparation and review of individual, partnership and corporate tax returns. She also performs payroll services, payroll tax reporting, financial statement preparation and bookkeeping services for a variety of clients. 

April joined Hogan - Hansen in 2023 as an Administrative Services Professional in our Ames office.  April supports our team with many administrative functions and provides excellent customer service to our clients. 

Outside of the office, April enjoys watching her children in sports and spending time with her 5 siblings.

Kyla joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2022 and serves as a Senior Accountant in the Ames, Iowa office. Her responsibilities primarily include providing payroll services and payroll tax reporting for a variety of clients. Kyla graduated from ISU with A B.A in Finance.

Kyla is married to her high school sweetheart and they have 3 grown boys, 1 granddaughter and a cat. In her free time she enjoys paddle boarding, kayaking, biking, and hiking.

For the Past 18 years Kyla has given back to her community by organizing and coaching Randall T-ball for Pre k - 2nd grade kids from Randal, Story City, Roland and other surrounding towns.

Shelby joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2023 and is a Staff Accountant in the Ames office. She is responsible for individual, partnership and corporate tax return preparation. In addition, she also plans and conducts audit, review and compilation engagements for local governments, nonprofit organizations and commercial entities. 

Shelby Graduated from Iowa State University with her Bachelors degree and Masters of Accounting. 

Outside of work Shelby enjoys to paint and loves art. She also enjoys going on walks, working out, shopping and traveling. 

Jaqueline joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2019 and is a Senior Accountant in the Ames office. She is responsible for individual, partnership and corporate tax return preparation, as well as working on our audit team. In addition, she assists with payroll services, payroll tax reporting, financial statement preparation and bookkeeping services for a variety of clients.

Kayleen joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2020  and serves as a Staff Accountant in our Ames office. Her responsibilities include payroll services, payroll tax reporting, financial statement preparation and bookkeeping services for a variety of clients

Kayleen graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a B.A. in Accounting. In her free time she likes to spend time with friends and her family.

Darci joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2016 and is a Senior Accountant in the Ames office. Her responsibilities primarily include providing payroll services and payroll tax reporting for a variety of clients.

Darci received an Associate’s degree in Accounting from Des Moines Area Community College.

Kaili joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2022 and is a Staff Accountant in the Ankeny office. Kaili's responsibilities include payroll services, payroll tax reporting, financial statement preparation and bookkeeping services for a variety of clients. She is also responsible for individual and business tax return preparation.

Kaili graduated from Iowa State University with a B.A. in Accounting.

Outside of work Kaili enjoys baking and spending time with her spouse, three daughters and three cats.

Leah joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2023 and is a Senior Accountant for the firm. She is responsible for individual, partnership and corporate tax return preparation. In addition, she also plans and conducts audit, review and compilation engagements for local governments, nonprofit organizations and commercial entities.

Leah graduated from the University of Iowa with a B.A. in accounting and the University of Northern Iowa with her Masters in Accounting.

In her free time, she enjoys cooking, baking, yoga, riding her bike and cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Dominique joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2019 and is a Office Director in the Ankeny office. She is an experienced tax professional and supervises preparation and review process of individual, partnership and corporate tax returns. Dominique also provides small businesses consulting, QuickBooks consulting, supervises preparation and the review process of financial statements.

Dominique is a graduate of Buena Vista University with a B.A. in Accounting. Outside of work, Dominique enjoys spending time with her family and cheering on the Iowa State Cyclones.
 

Sonal joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2019 after operating her CPA firm in the Ames and Ankeny area for many years. She serves as a Senior Tax Manager in the Ames and Ankeny offices.

Cayli graduated from Buena Vista University with a B.A. in Psychology and Human Services with a minor in Trauma Advocacy.

Cayli and her husband Zak just moved back to Iowa after living in Hawaii for a short time. Together they enjoy traveling and visiting new places. They also enjoy meeting new people, trying new and delicious foods, and are looking forward to exploring their new hometown in Iowa. 

Kameo joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2019 and serves as an Administrative Services Professional in the Ankeny office. She supports our firm with many administrative functions and is responsible for providing excellent service to our clients.

Molly joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2021 and serves as a Senior Accountant in our Ankeny office. Her responsibilities include payroll services, payroll tax reporting, financial statement preparation and bookkeeping services for a variety of clients.

Molly graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a B.A. in Accounting and Finance. Molly enjoys hanging out with friends and family, camping, walking her dog and watching Iowa State play football. Molly also likes being involved in activities at her church. 

Henry joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2022 and serves as a Staff Accountant located in our Ankeny office. He is responsible for individual tax return preparation, as well as working on our audit team.

Henry graduated from the University of Iowa with a B.A. in Accounting.

In his free time he enjoys deer, duck and goose hunting; fishing; participating in pool tournaments; playing golf; and watching all sports, especially golf and football.

Henry's favorite team to cheer for is the Green Bay Packers.

David joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2019 and is a Senior Accountant.  He is responsible for individual, partnership and corporate tax return preparation. In addition, he also plans and conducts audit, review and compilation engagements for local governments, nonprofit organizations and commercial entities.

David graduated from Bob Jones University with a B.S. degree in Accounting. He volunteers for Heartland Youth for Christ after-school programs, is a Taekwondo instructor and in his free time he plays guitar and ultimate Frisbee.

Evan joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2021 and is a Staff Accountant in our Cedar Rapids office.  He is responsible for individual, partnership, and corporate tax return preparation.  In addition, he also plans and conducts audit, review and compilation engagements for local governments, nonprofit organizations and commercial entities.

Evan graduated from Coe College in 2021 with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting and Business Administration and was an intern with Hogan - Hansen for two tax seasons prior to graduating. In his free time, Evan likes to watch soccer, hike, swim, and cook. He also loves Sudoku and table puzzles. You can catch Evan watching movies or hanging out with his two dogs at home.

Evan volunteers at his local church during holiday food drives and went to Mexico on a mission trip to build houses. In the future he hopes to spend time volunteering at the animal shelter. 

Kevin joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 1986 and is a Senior Tax Manager in the Cedar Rapids office. Kevin is responsible for key client relationships, working with a variety of clients and industries. He is experienced in individual, partnership and corporate tax planning and preparation, audit services, business consulting, succession planning and wealth management services.

Kevin is a member of the Marion Kiwanis Club and Cedar Rapids Elks Lodge and serves on the Marion Senior Living Community Board. He is also a past board member of the School Tuition Organization for the Archdiocese of Dubuque and is the past president for the Cedar Valley Running Association and Cedar Rapids Area Estate Planning Council. Kevin has been married since 1979 to his wife, Diane, and has three grown daughters.

Frank joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2023.  Frank is responsible for individual, partnership, and corporate tax return preparation along with other duties.  

Frank graduated from Mount Mercy College with his B.A. in Accounting and Business Administration.  He's an active board member for the Cedar Rapids Prairie Foundation and the Anamosa Archery Club.  

When Frank isn't in the office or volunteering, he enjoys spending time with his 5 grown children and 5 grandchildren, and traveling.  He enjoys archery, shooting 3D Archery during the summer and is an avid bow hunter during the fall.  He is a big fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes and Dallas Cowboys, as well.

Brooke joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2007 and serves as an Audit Manager in the Cedar Rapids office. Brooke plans and conducts audit, review and compilation engagements for local governments, nonprofit organizations and commercial entities, specializing in employee benefit plans. Brooke also is an experienced tax professional, preparing complex individual, partnership and corporate tax returns.

Brooke graduated summa cum laude from the University of Northern Iowa with a B.A. degree in Accounting. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their children and dog.

Jennifer joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2005 and is a Partner with the firm. In addition to managing the operations of the Cedar Rapids office, Jennifer plans and conducts audit, review and compilation engagements for local governments, nonprofit organizations and commercial entities. In addition, she supervises the tax preparation and review process of individual, partnership and corporate tax returns. Jennifer is also responsible for key client relationships, working with a variety of clients and industries.

Jennifer graduated cum laude from the University of Northern Iowa with a B.A. degree in Accounting. She serves on the Finance Council for St. Joseph Catholic Church and participates on the Public Relations Committee and Strategic Planning Committee for St. Joseph Catholic School. She was previously the president of the St. Joseph Catholic School Board and the Chargers Parent Organization. Jennifer is an officer for the Cedar Rapids Area Estate Planning Council and the President of the Student Tuition Organization for the Archdiocese of Dubuque. Jennifer and her husband, Nick, have three children, Chase, Natalie and Matthew. Her favorite sports teams are the teams her children play on! 

Zach joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2023 and is a Senior Accountant for the firm. He is responsible for individual, partnership and corporate tax return preparation. In addition, he also plans and conducts audit, review and compilation engagements for local governments, nonprofit organizations and commercial entities.

Zach graduated from Iowa State University with his Bachelors in Accounting.

In his free time, he enjoys water skiing and hanging out with friends and family on the water. In the winter he enjoys snow skiing. Zach and his fiancé enjoy going to concerts and cheering on the ISU Cyclones.

Craig joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2023 and is a Senior Accountant for our firm.  He is responsible for individual, partnership and corporate tax return preparation.  

Craig graduated from Iowa State University with his B.B.A. degree in Accounting.  He is an active board member and treasurer for Izaak Walton League of America, Friends of Linn County Conservation Board, and Izaak Walton League Conservation Endowment.  He also enjoys participating in fundraising activities for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. 

When Craig isn't in the office or volunteering, he enjoys being outdoors with his family, going to concerts, and traveling abroad.

Desiree joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2021 and serves as an Administrative Services Professional in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa office. She supports our firm with many administrative functions and is responsible for providing excellent service to our clients. Desiree graduated from the University of Iowa with a B.A. in Criminology, Law and Justice. 

Desiree and her husband have two young children that keep them busy and just recently moved back to Iowa to a farm. They enjoy riding ATVs, dirt bikes and exploring their new farm together. She likes to cheer for the Iowa Hawkeyes while having a friendly competition with her husband who cheers for the Illini. 

Amy joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2016 and is a Senior Accountant in the Cedar Rapids office. Amy’s responsibilities include payroll services, payroll tax reporting, financial statement preparation and bookkeeping services for a variety of clients.

Amy and her husband, Todd, have two children. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, spending time with family and camping. She likes to cheer for the Iowa Hawkeyes, but occasionally will cheer for the Cyclones as long as they are not playing the Hawkeyes.

Katherine joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2022 and serves as an Administrative Services Professional in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa office. She supports our firm with many administrative functions and is responsible for providing excellent service to our clients.

In her free time, Katherine enjoys spending time with her 3 kids and traveling.

Alyssa joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2023 and serves as an Administrative Services Professional in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa office. She supports our firm with many administrative functions and is responsible for providing excellent service to our clients.

Alyssa graduated from Iowa State University with her Bachelors degree in Accounting. She hopes to get her CPA in the future.

Outside of work Alyssa enjoys gardening, making bread and canning preserves. She also enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and cat named Maverick. You can also find her cheering on her favorite team the Kansas City Chiefs.

Brittany joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2023 and is a Senior Accountant.  She is responsible for individual, corporate, and partnership tax return preparation.  

Brittany graduated from Mount Mercy University with her Bachelor's degree in Accounting and is an enrolled agent.  

When she's not in the, Brittany is a movie buff, enjoying all genres.  She also has fun shopping, especially for Disney merchandise.  

Megan joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2022 and serves as an Administrative Services Professional in the Mason City office. She supports our firm with many administrative functions and is responsible for providing excellent service to our clients. Megan graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a B.S.  and has her substitute teacher license. 

She is Married to Ken, and Mom to 4 children ages 28, 22, 20, and 13--two boys and 2 girls. Megan and her family have 2 cats that they enjoy having in the house.  When not working, Megan enjoys lettering, mostly modern calligraphy and making cards. Her favorite past-time involves family vacations heading west to the mountains. 

Megan gives back to her community by volunteering for school activities and she is was on the Band Board from 2019-2021.

Jeremia joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2019 and is a Senior Accountant. He is responsible for individual, partnership and corporate tax return preparation. In addition, he also plans and conducts audit, review and compilation engagements for local governments, nonprofit organizations and commercial entities.

Jeremia graduated from St. Cloud State University with a B.S. degree in Accounting. In his free time he enjoys fishing and golf. He is also a Minnesota sports fan.

Veronica joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2016 and serves as a Senior Accountant for the Mason City office. Her responsibilities also include payroll services, payroll tax reporting, financial statement preparation and bookkeeping services for a variety of clients.

Veronica received an Associate’s degree in Business from North Iowa Area Community College and a B.A. degree in Accounting from the University of Phoenix. 

Dennis joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 1996 and is the Partner in charge of overseeing the operations of our northern offices. Dennis is also responsible for key client relationships, working with a variety of clients and industries. He is experienced in individual, partnership and corporate tax planning and preparation, audit services, business consulting, succession planning and wealth management services. Dennis plays a key role in firm expansion and growth efforts through business development and firm acquisitions.

Dennis graduated from Northwestern College with a B.A. degree in Accounting. Dennis is as a member of the Board of Directors of Youth for Christ and Northwoods Savings Bank. He is also actively involved with Grace Church. Dennis and his wife, Susan, have three daughters – Corrine, Emily and Hailey. They enjoy spending time at home with their three cats and cheering for the Dallas Cowboys, Minnesota Twins and Iowa Hawkeyes.

Liesbeth joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2021 and is a Senior Accountant.  She is responsible for individual, partnership and corporate tax return preparation.  In addition, she also plans and conducts audit, review and compilation engagements for local governments, nonprofit organizations and commercial entities.

Liesbeth graduated from Northwestern College with a B.A. in Accounting and is a CPA. 

Liesbeth is married to her husband Will and they enjoy bike rides, walks with their corgi puppy, traveling to see their family abroad, reading, doing puzzles, and spending time with their family and friends.

Kristi joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2006 and is a Partner with the firm in the Mason City office. Kristi also oversees the audit practice for several of the firm’s offices. Kristi is responsible for key client relationships, working with a variety of clients and industries. She is experienced in individual, partnership and corporate tax planning and preparation and audit services.

Kristi graduated with B.A. degrees in Accounting and Business Administration from Northwestern College and a Master of Professional Accountancy degree from the University of South Dakota. She serves as the treasurer for both her church and local Kiwanis club. Kristi and her husband, Joe, enjoy spending time with their daughter, Lauren and son, Ben.

Laura joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2010 and is a Partner with the firm. Laura is responsible for key client relationships with a variety of clients and industries. Laura supervises the tax preparation and the review process of individual, partnership, corporate, fiduciary and nonprofit tax returns. She also performs tax planning and research for complex tax-related projects and specializes in tax credits. 

Laura graduated from Grand View College with B.A. degrees in Accounting and Business Administration. She is married to her husband, Jeremy, and they have a two children. Laura is an Ambassador with the Mason City Chamber of Commerce and the Mason City Noon Lions Club.  Outside of work, Laura enjoys spending time with her family.

Jason joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2010 and is a Tax Manager in the Mason City office. He performs research on a complex tax-related topics and is responsible for preparation and review of individual, partnership and corporate income tax returns. Jason also plans and conducts audit, review and compilation engagements for nonprofit organizations and commercial entities, specializing in employee benefit plans.

Jason is a graduate of the University of Iowa with a B.A. degree in Accounting. He enjoys cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes and Chicago Cubs. Jason volunteers at the Hawkeye Harvest Food Bank

Shannon joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2010. Shannon reviews individual, partnership and corporate tax returns. Shannon also plans and conducts audit, review and compilation engagements for local governments, nonprofit organizations and commercial entities. Shannon is responsible for key client relationships, working with a variety of clients and industries. In addition, Shannon assists clients with QuickBooks consulting.

Shannon graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a B.A. degree in Accounting. She is married to Todd and they have a daughter, Mathea. In her spare time, she enjoys cheering on the Iowa State Cyclones, University of Northern Iowa Panthers and Chicago Cubs.

Marlene joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2015 after operating her own CPA firm in Forest City for many years. Marlene serves as a Senior Tax Manager for the Mason City office. She prepares and reviews complex tax returns and is also involved in tax and business planning/consulting.

Marlene attended Buena Vista University.. She has been married since 1978 and has two grown sons. She enjoys camping, boating and above all, spending time with her grandchildren.

Chelsea joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2019 and is a Senior Accountant. She is responsible for individual, partnership and corporate tax return preparation. In addition, she also plans and conducts audit, review and compilation engagements for local governments, nonprofit organizations and commercial entities.

Chelsea graduated form the University of Northern Iowa with her B.A. degree in Accounting. She enjoys cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Haley joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2023 and is a Senior Accountant. She is responsible for individual, partnership and corporate tax return preparation. In addition, she also plans and conducts audit, review and compilation engagements for local governments, nonprofit organizations and commercial entities.

Haley graduated from Northwestern College with Bachelors in Accounting and Biology Health Professions.

Haley and her husband have 3 cats and one dog. Her favorite sports teams are the Minnesota Vikings and Iowa Hawkeyes.

Linsey joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2015 and is Senior Accountant for the Mason City office. She is responsible for individual, partnership and corporate tax return preparation. In addition, she assists with payroll services, payroll tax reporting, financial statement preparation and bookkeeping services for a variety of clients.

Linsey is a graduate of Central College with a B.A. degree in Business Management, with an emphasis in Marketing. She also has her Master of Business Administration degree (Accounting concentration) from American Public University. In her free time, Linsey volunteers for Rotary International, Forest City Young Professionals and is on the Puckerbrush Days Committee.

Becky rejoined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2016 after previously working with the firm for 11 years. She is a Senior Accountant in the Mason City office. Her responsibilities include payroll services, payroll tax reporting, financial statement preparation and bookkeeping services for a variety of clients. She also helps provide our staff with computer support.

Devan joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2021 and is a Staff Accountant in our Mason City office. Devan's responsibilities include payroll services, payroll tax reporting, financial statement preparation and bookkeeping services for a variety of clients.

Devan graduated from Hamilton Business College with an  Associate degree in Accounting. She is also an active volunteer at Roosevelt Elementary as a PTO treasurer.

Devan is married with two daughters and one dog. In her free time she enjoys traveling, bike riding and spending time with her family. 

Laura joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2016 and serves as an Administrative Services Professional in the Mason City office. She supports our firm with many administrative functions and is responsible for providing excellent service to our clients.

Laura is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas with a B.A. degree in Journalism. She is married to her husband, Derek, and they have three children – Tyler, Katie and Hannah

Patti joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2010 and is the Administrative Services Manager in the Mason City office. In her role, Patti oversees all of the administrative functions for the Mason City office, assuring the operations run smoothly.

Patti is a graduate of Hamilton Business College. Patti is married and has two children, Amber and Dylan. During her free time, she enjoys volunteering for the Hawkeye Food Bank and cheers for the Central Spring Panthers and University of Northern Iowa Panthers.

Linda joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2012 and is a Senior Accountant in the Mason City office. Her responsibilities include payroll services, payroll tax reporting, financial statement preparation and bookkeeping services for a variety of clients.

Linda received an Associate’s degree in Accounting from Wake Technical Community College in Raleigh, North Carolina. She has two sons, who are both married, and two grandchildren.

Jenni joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2022 and serves as an Administrative Services Professional in the Mason City office. She supports our firm with many administrative functions and is responsible for providing excellent service to our clients. Jenni graduated from Seattle Pacific University with a B.A. in Psychology. 

She is Married to Jon, who teaches Math at Mason City High School, and Mom to Abbie (and son-in-law Alex), Tim, Emily and Will. They recently added two cats to the family, Scrabble and Anny.  When not working, Jenni enjoys family time around the table, trying new recipes, reading, games, long walks and road trips. As a Pacific Northwest native she is a lifelong fan of the Seahawks, though the rest of her family are Vikings and Packers fans!

Jenni gives back to her community by volunteering at Instrumental Music Boosters, Mason City High School and Greater Iowa Youth for Christ.

Kristen joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2019 and serves as a Senior Accountant in the Mason City office. Her responsibilities also include payroll services, payroll tax reporting, financial statement preparation and bookkeeping services for a variety of clients.

Kristen received an Associate’s degree in Accounting from Kaplan University. Kristen volunteers for St. Paul Lutheran Church Council and Jefferson Elementary School's PTO.  In her free time she also enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. 

Ghandy joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2022 and serves as a Staff Accountant in the Mason City, Iowa office. Her responsibilities primarily include providing payroll services and payroll tax reporting for a variety of clients.

Ghandy graduated from Western Iowa Community College with an A.A.S. in Accounting and served as an intern for Hogan-Hansen in the spring of 2022.

In her free time, Ghandy enjoys spending time with her 2 children; biking, camping, going to parks, and most recently fishing.

Jill joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2015 and serves as a Staff Accountant in the Mason City office. Her responsibilities include payroll services, payroll tax reporting, financial statement preparation and bookkeeping services for a variety of clients.

Jill graduated from Kirkwood Community College with an Associate's degree in Business Administration. She gives back to her community by volunteering with Meals on Wheels and Hawkeye Harvest. 

Jill enjoys spending time at home with her three children and English bulldog. Her free time is spent golfing, traveling and hanging out with friends.     

Carrie joined the Hogan Hansen team in 2019 as an Administrative Assistant, and has expanded her role to include HR and marketing.  She enjoys helping our clients as well as welcoming new employees to the firm.

Carrie received her A.A. degree from Iowa Central Community College and her B.A. in Interpersonal Communications with a minor in Leadership Studies from the University of Northern Iowa.  She volunteers in many activities in her community and has been a youth group leader at her church for 10 years.

Carrie and her husband, Bill, spend their time supporting their three daughters in their various activities, traveling, and are involved in their church.  

Sue joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 1982 and serves as the Firm Administrative Services Manager and Network Administrator. She works in the Waterloo office and oversees all administrative and computer network functions for the firm.

Sue received an Executive Secretary Associate’s degree from Hawkeye Institute of Technology. She and her husband, Greg, enjoy spending time with their son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Karen, and daughter, Elizabeth. Outside of work, Sue enjoys metal detecting on the family farm, searching for long-lost treasures.

Dana joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2022 and serves as a Staff Accountant. He is responsible for individual tax return preparation, as well as working on our audit team.

Dana graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a B.A. in Accounting.

In his free time, Dana enjoys camping, hiking, riding motorcycles and playing with his dogs Rosie and Dexter. He also enjoys watching the Green Bay Packers and Iowa Hawkeyes. 

Marcus joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2011 and serves as an Audit Manager in the Waterloo office. He plans and conducts audit, review and compilation engagements for local governments, nonprofit organizations and commercial entities. Marcus also is an experienced tax professional, preparing complex individual, partnership and corporate income tax returns.

Marcus graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with B.A. degrees in Accounting and Finance. In his spare time, Marcus likes to cheer on the Nebraska Cornhuskers and spends time with his miniature Australian Shepherd, Maggie.

Damian joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2003 and is a Partner with the firm. Damian is responsible for key client relationships, working with a variety of clients and industries. He is experienced in individual, partnership and corporate tax planning and preparation, as well as small business consulting.

Damian is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa with a B.A. degree in Accounting. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Alicia, and their two dogs.

Dawn joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2022 and is a Staff Accountant in our Waterloo office. She is responsible for individual and corporate tax return preparation, as well as working on our audit team. In addition, she assists with payroll services, payroll tax reporting, financial statement preparation and bookkeeping services for a variety of clients.

Dawn graduated from University of Northern Iowa with a B.A. in Accounting. She is a CPA and has several years of accounting and finance experience. 

She is married to her husband, Matt. She has two daughters, Alisa and Mackenzie, whom are both attending college. She also has a dog named Lucca. In her free time, Dawn enjoys watching movies, traveling and spending time with her family.

Eric joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2012 and is a Partner in the Waterloo office. He performs research on complex tax-related topics and is responsible for preparation and review of individual, partnership and corporate tax returns. Eric plans and conducts audit, review and compilation engagements for local governments, nonprofit organizations and commercial entities.

Eric graduated from Coe College with B.A. degrees in Accounting and Business Administration. He is married to his high school sweetheart and they have two sons. In his spare time, he volunteers for his sons’ baseball teams and has also served as the Treasurer of the Marion Economic Development Company, a nonprofit organization. During the summer he enjoys spending time at Lake Delhi.

Steve is the firm’s Managing Partner and has been with Hogan - Hansen since 1994. He is responsible for the overall management of the firm in conjunction with the Board of Directors. Steve is also responsible for key client relationships, working with a variety of clients in many different industries. He is experienced in individual, partnership and corporate income tax planning and preparation, audit services, business consulting, succession planning and wealth management services. He particularly enjoys mentoring and training our staff to succeed in their careers.

Steve graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a B.A. degree in Accounting. In his spare time, Steve enjoys spending time outdoors fishing, boating and working in the yard. Steve and his wife, Renee, have three children – Maureen, Joe and Kyle.

Anne has been with the firm for over 30 years and is a Tax Manager in the Waterloo office. She performs research on a variety of tax-related topics and reviews corporate income tax returns. Anne also provides our staff with tax software support and training.

Anne is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa with a B.A. degree in Accounting. She is married to her husband, Rick, and they have three sons – Colin, Connor and Casey.

Chris joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2020 and is a Senior Accountant in the Waterloo office. He is an experienced tax professional and assists with the preparation of individual, partnership and corporate tax returns. 

Chris graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with his B.A. degree in Accounting and a minor in Economics. 

Outside of work Chris enjoys playing golf, spending time with family, attending his son's various sporting events and cheering on the UNI Panthers. 

Julie joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2019 and serves as an Administrative Services Professional.  She supports our firm with many administrative functions and is responsible for welcoming and assisting clients who visit our office.

Julie graduated from Hawkeye Community College Secretarial Course.  In her free time she volunteers for Habitat for Humanity, My Waterloo Days and Cedar Valley Food Bank.  She enjoys gardening, camping and crafts.

Mandy joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2022 and is a Staff Accountant. Her responsibilities include payroll services, payroll tax reporting, financial statement preparation and bookkeeping services for a variety of clients.

Mandy graduated from Hamilton Business College and has an B.A. in Business. She gives back to her community by coaching her daughters softball and volleyball teams at Waverly-Shell Rock Schools.

In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband, 3 daughters, 1 son and their family dog.

Diane joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2003 and is the Corporate Controller for the firm. She is responsible for the internal accounting functions of our firm, including payroll and financial statement preparation.

Diane has given back to her community by volunteering with the American Red Cross and in her church as a Sunday School teacher. She has two children and four step-children. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Alexis joined Hogan - Hansen in 2022 and serves as an Administrative Services Professional.  She supports our firm with many administrative functions and is responsible for welcoming and assisting clients who visit our office.

Alexis graduated with her B.A. in Human Resources Management. In her free time she enjoys playing volleyball in the winter and sand volleyball and bags in the summer. She also loves spending time with her family, friends and boyfriend. 

Alexis gives back to her community at the food bank, Families First and the humane society. 

Kim joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2021 and is a Staff Accountant.  Her responsibilities include payroll services, payroll tax reporting, financial statement preparation and bookkeeping services for a variety of clients.

Kim graduated from Winona State University with a B.A. degree in Sociology and a minor in Business Administration. She also has an Accounting degree from Augsburg College in Minnesota along with her LPA certificate. 

In her free time she enjoys spending time with her son, Matthew, and her family and friends. Kim enjoys traveling, camping near Oelwein and can be found cheering for UNI, Chicago Cubs and most importantly to her, the Green Bay Packers. 

Denise joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2016 and serves as a Staff Accountant in the Waterloo office. Her responsibilities also include payroll services, payroll tax reporting, financial statement preparation and bookkeeping services for a variety of clients.

Denise is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa. She cheers for the Iowa Hawkeyes and enjoys spending time with her children and their spouses, grandchildren and her dog Macy. Denise was born and raised in Cedar Falls and especially enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, bicycling, boating and traveling.

Terri joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2023 as a Senior Accountant. She is responsible for individual, partnership and corporate tax return preparation.

Terri graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with her Bachelors and Masters degree in Accounting. She has served her community as a board member and treasurer at Greater Denver Activities Foundation, Denver Cyclone Scholarship Foundation and St. Paul United Church of Christ.

Outside of work Terri enjoys reading, knitting, spending time at Lake Delhi and attending athletic events of her nephews.

Courtney joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2019 and is a Staff Accountant in the Waterloo office.  Her responsibilities include payroll services, payroll tax reporting, financial statement preparation and bookkeeping services for a variety of clients.

Courtney graduated from Upper Iowa University with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

In her free time she enjoys spending time with her three boys and cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes and New York Yankees. 

Lisa joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2002.  She is a Partner with the firm and serves on the firm’s Board of Directors. In her role as Director of Wealth Management Services, Lisa focuses on business development, client service and relationship management, as well as managing the day-to-day business activities for the wealth management practice. Lisa is an Investment Advisor Representative and holds her life, health and accident insurance license.

Lisa graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a B.A. degree in Finance.  She is an active member of St. Edward’s Catholic Church and serves on the governing board for Cedar Valley Hospice.  Outside of work, Lisa enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with her three children --  Mitchell, Emma and Thomas.
