We are seeking a Administrative Services Professional to add to the team at our Ames location.
The Administrative Services Professional is our key customer service provider for both clients and management. This position maintains location files, facilitates correspondence, and is a key role in the transfer of information between clients and staff. The position manages calendars, schedules client appointments, oversees general office inventory, handles incoming and outgoing mail, and other duties as assigned.
Job Duties:
- Answer phones and assist walk-in customers
- Schedule appointments
- Prepare /open/distribute mail and UPS packages
- Receive and scan various confidential documents and facilitate work-flow in company systems
- Type, edit and proof documents from letters to reports and other instructional documents
- Perform small accounting tasks
- Maintain electronic and physical filing systems
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work as a team to problem solve
- Skilled at time management with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-3 years of experience in administrative work
- Associates degree preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
Schedule:
January 1 - April 30: 8:00AM - 5:00PM Monday - Friday
May 1 - December 31: 8:00AM-5:00PM Monday - Thursday 8:00AM-1:00PM Friday
