Our Staff

David joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2019 and is a Senior Accountant.  He is responsible for individual, partnership and corporate tax return preparation. In addition, he also plans and conducts audit, review and compilation engagements for local governments, nonprofit organizations and commercial entities.

David graduated from Bob Jones University with a B.S. degree in Accounting. He volunteers for Heartland Youth for Christ after-school programs, is a Taekwondo instructor and in his free time he plays guitar and ultimate Frisbee.

Evan joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2021 and serves as a Senior Accountant. He is responsible for individual, corporate, partnership, nonprofit, and gift tax return preparation. In addition to this, he conducts and assists with audit, review, compilation, and agreed-upon procedure engagements for local governments, nonprofit organizations, and commercial entities. 

Evan graduated from Coe College with his B.A. in Public Accounting and Business Administration and is a member of the Iowa Society of CPAs. Evan strives to live out the firm’s values by building client relationships based on trust and delivering high-quality work tailored to fit client's specific needs, making a positive difference in the lives of his clients and his community. He also serves as Co-Director of the Fun Committee in the Cedar Rapids office. 

Outside of work, he enjoys kickboxing, movies, cooking, and reading. Evan is a Detroit Lions fan and enjoys attending Cedar Rapids Kernels and RoughRiders sporting events. 

Kevin joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 1986 and is a Senior Tax Manager in the Cedar Rapids office. Kevin is responsible for key client relationships, working with a variety of clients and industries. He is experienced in individual, partnership and corporate tax planning and preparation, audit services, business consulting, succession planning and wealth management services.

Kevin is a member of the Marion Kiwanis Club and Cedar Rapids Elks Lodge and serves on the Marion Senior Living Community Board. He is also a past board member of the School Tuition Organization for the Archdiocese of Dubuque and is the past president for the Cedar Valley Running Association and Cedar Rapids Area Estate Planning Council. Kevin has been married since 1979 to his wife, Diane, and has three grown daughters.

Jennifer joined Hogan-Hansen, P.C. in 2005 and is a Partner with the firm. She leads the Cedar Rapids office, where she oversees audits, tax preparation, and key client relationships. Jennifer is also passionate about mentoring and training staff, fostering professional growth and success within the firm.

A cum laude graduate of the University of Northern Iowa and a licensed CPA, Jennifer brings extensive knowledge and dedication to her clients and colleagues.

Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys life with her husband, Nick, their three children, and their maltipoo. She is actively involved in her church and various community organizations, dedicating time to volunteering, supporting her children’s activities, and reading. Jennifer’s compassion and commitment to excellence reflect both her dedication to clients and her service to the community.

Brooke joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2007 and serves as an Audit Manager in the Cedar Rapids office. Brooke plans and conducts audit, review and compilation engagements for local governments, nonprofit organizations and commercial entities, specializing in employee benefit plans. Brooke also is an experienced tax professional, preparing complex individual, partnership and corporate tax returns.

Brooke graduated summa cum laude from the University of Northern Iowa with a B.A. degree in Accounting.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their children and dog.

Justin joined our office in Cedar Rapids in 2024.  He attended the University of Northern Iowa and earned his degree in Accounting and is a licensed CPA, IACPA, and AICPA.

Justin is the treasurer for Friends of the North Liberty Library, and enjoys golf and spending his time with his children.  He's also a big UNI, Iowa and Green Bay Packers fan.

Brittany joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2023 and serves as a Tax Manager. As an Enrolled Agent, she focuses on the preparation and review of individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns. She is dedicated to delivering accurate, timely service and takes pride in helping clients navigate complex tax matters with confidence.

A graduate of Mount Mercy University, Brittany combines strong technical expertise with a personable approach to client service and team collaboration. She is committed to supporting colleagues and clients with professionalism, positivity, and a willingness to assist wherever needed.

Outside the office, Brittany enjoys watching movies and collecting Disney merchandise.

Craig joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2023 and is a Senior Accountant for our firm.  He is responsible for individual, partnership and corporate tax return preparation.  

Craig graduated from Iowa State University with his B.B.A. degree in Accounting.  He is an active board member and treasurer for Izaak Walton League of America, Friends of Linn County Conservation Board, and Izaak Walton League Conservation Endowment.  He also enjoys participating in fundraising activities for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. 

When Craig isn't in the office or volunteering, he enjoys being outdoors with his family, going to concerts, and traveling abroad.

Bryce joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. as a Staff Accountant and is skilled in preparing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and not-for-profit organizations.

He earned his B.A. in Accounting and Business Administration, with a minor in Economics, from Coe College, providing him with a strong foundation in both technical expertise and business insight.

Outside of work, Bryce enjoys kickboxing, Jiu Jitsu, weight training, and reading. He values fostering positive relationships with colleagues and clients while contributing to a professional yet enjoyable workplace environment. Bryce’s dedication and collaborative spirit reflect the core values of Hogan – Hansen.

Desiree joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2021 and serves as an Administrative Services Professional in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa office. She supports our firm with many administrative functions and is responsible for providing excellent service to our clients. Desiree graduated from the University of Iowa with a B.A. in Criminology, Law and Justice. 

Desiree and her husband have two young children that keep them busy and just recently moved back to Iowa to a farm. They enjoy riding ATVs, dirt bikes and exploring their new farm together. She likes to cheer for the Iowa Hawkeyes while having a friendly competition with her husband who cheers for the Illini. 

Amy joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2016 and is a Senior Accountant in the Cedar Rapids office. Amy’s responsibilities include payroll services, payroll tax reporting, financial statement preparation and bookkeeping services for a variety of clients.

Amy and her husband, Todd, have two children. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, spending time with family and camping. She likes to cheer for the Iowa Hawkeyes, but occasionally will cheer for the Cyclones as long as they are not playing the Hawkeyes.

Alyssa joined Hogan - Hansen, P.C. in 2023 and serves as an Administrative Services Professional, where she manages client communications and provides high-quality customer service. She especially enjoys document management and organizational projects that help streamline operations.

She earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Iowa State University and approaches each day with dedication, guided by the belief that “it’s not how you start, it’s how you finish.”

Outside of work, Alyssa enjoys gardening, canning, thrifting, decorating, and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs. She and her husband live with their daughter, cat Maverick, and two dogs, Fish and Green Bean.
